Café Marhaba - Oslo

Si vous décidez de vous balader vers le cimetière principal d'Oslo (celui où Munch ou encore Ibsen sont enterrés) et que vous voulez faire un arrêt pour un verre : ce bar/restaurant est le lieu idéal. 

Dans une ambiance dépaysante, la décoration au style arabe vous plongera dans un autre pays, une autre atmosphère. Ici vous pourrez boire une bière bien sûr ou du vin mais c'est tellement plus "adapté" de prendre un thé à la menthe, une infusion ou encore un maté ! 

Nous avons donc pris un thé à la menthe et un maté (pour mon homme). Pour le maté, il faut aimer ! C'est très amer, mais quand on aime… Vous aurez aussi du rooibos, qui est un arbuste poussant exclusivement en Afrique du Sud. 

Bien sûr vous pouvez aussi vous restaurer ici, une cuisine plutôt axé arabe, turc (oui je sais, ce n'est pas pareil, mais en Norvège c'est la même chose!). Le personnel est sympa, ce qui ne gâche rien.

If you decide to walk to the main cemetery in Oslo (the one where Munch and Ibsen are buried) and you want to stop somewhere for a drink : this bar/restaurant is the ideal place.

In an exotic setting, decorated in Arabic style immerses you in another country, another atmosphere. Here you can drink a beer or wine of course but it's so much more "suitable" to take a mint tea, an infusion or a mate!

So we ordered ​a mint tea and a mate (for my man). For the mate, you must love it! It is very bitter but when you like... You will have also rooibos, which is a shrub that grows exclusively in South Africa.

Of course you can also have dinner here, a kitchen focused on Arabic and Turkish food (yes I know, this is not the same, but in Norway it's the same thing!). The staff is nice,which does not spoil anything.
